Dr Kershaw’s Hospice is currently undertaking a major extension to its facilities and care services. During the building of the second phase of the scheme, over 25,000 bricks were used for the external and internal walls.

Phase 3 will involve the extension and refitting of the kitchen, the provision of additional office and storage accommodation and the provision of additional car parking facilities.

Once again, a significant number of bricks will be used, and by ‘selling’ each brick for a donation of £10, we could raise a substantial amount for our Extending Care programme.

Anyone can buy one! – Anyone can sponsor a brick as a donation to the Hospice’s Extended Care Appeal.

A group of friends, organisations or businesses can buy a whole wall of 100 bricks at a cost of £1,000.

Everyone sponsoring a ‘brick’ will receive a personalised ‘Brick Certificate’ as a special thank you to acknowledge their donation to the Appeal.

Anyone sponsoring a ‘wall’ will receive a specially framed ‘Brick Certificate’. Their names will also be included in the Hospice’s Annual Report and in the ‘Book of Donations’.
