Ascot Ladies Day at The White Hart Inn Raises Over £4,000 for Hospice
On 20th June, the White Hart Inn at Lydgate was host once more to Ascot Ladies Day in aid of Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, run by long-term supporter, Gill Bussey.
The sun was out in all its glory, with Howard Nilsen Photography capturing the moment, and everyone enjoying a welcome drink, 3 course meal and raffle followed by afternoon tea! The races were streamed live with an on-site bookie taking the odd bet or two!
Event organiser Gill said: “I started the event some 19 years ago, it’s so lovely to see everyone having a fabulous time whilst raising much needed funds for Dr Kershaw’s Hospice.
Thank you to those who kindly donated or attended the event, the team at The White Hart Inn, our compere Brian Hurst, Delph Youth Band and all the florists who kindly provided the beautiful flowers. I’m thrilled that the event raised an amazing £4,378.55 to support patients and their families at Dr Kershaw’s Hospice.”
Next year’s Ascot Ladies Day, in aid of Dr Kershaw’s will take place on Thursday 19th June.
