Colorplas Project Manager, Rudi Ryan, is encouraging the community to sign up to Dr Kershaw’s Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge, after he describes last year’s challenge as an incredible adventure. Rudi took part with a group of seventeen walkers to support the Hospice where friend and former colleague, Ian Mclean was cared for before he sadly passed away three years ago.
Rudi said: “The Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge was a fantastic opportunity to give something back as a thank you for the care and support the Hospice gave Ian and his family. It was truly an incredible adventure and is something that has given me a great sense of achievement. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who is wanting a personal challenge for yourself or in memory of a loved one.”
Dr Kershaw’s Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge is taking place on Saturday 16th July 2022, and the 24-mile hill walk will take you to the summits of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. Qualified and experienced guides will be with you every step of the way and training walks are available to help you make the most of the ups and downs of the day, spent in the beautiful heart of the Yorkshire Dales.
