Training walk: The Yorkshire 3 Peaks is not a stroll in the park – it’s a serious challenge walk through rough terrain with some scrambling and rocky areas to negotiate. It is imperative that every participant has a good level of fitness and trains to take on the Y3P Challenge.
With this in mind, Mark Hilton is providing 2 local training walks, including the Saddleworth 3 Peaks which is a 15 mile route that takes in Indian’s Head, Pots ’n’ Pans and Wharmton and will give hikers a good grounding when it comes to what to expect of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks….just 9 miles shorter!
Training Walk Dates:
Saturday 21st May 2022
Saturday 25th June 2022
Training walks are free of charge.
Please note: We strongly advise that you attend both training walks however, it is mandatory that you attend at least one as it is essential that Mark Hilton is able to assess your levels of fitness in terms of being able to complete the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge.
