Dr Kershaw’s is an independent Hospice serving the people of Oldham and surrounding districts and a registered charity. A major part of our income is supported by our events fundraising activity. Our plans for the next 5 years to meet our strategic objectives include further growth following the construction of a new Inpatient Unit, and we are looking to continue to build effective fundraising relationships whilst continuing to serve our community.

To achieve all this, we need enthusiastic, self-motivated and pro-active people who are focused, with an attention to detail and who share our values.

Fundraising Events Lead

· Can you actively engage with members of the public?

· Have experience of delivering and developing a calendar of fundraising events?

· Can you multi task – developing new and future events concurrently?

· Work flexibly, including some weekends?

· Are you enthusiastic and self-motivated and enjoy event planning?

This is a full time, permanent role.

Salary: £28,407 to £34,581 (dependent on experience) 

Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours per week (across multiple/various days)
