Thank You for attending our 2023 Summer Fayre!

We were thrilled to welcome the community back to our Hospice for our Summer Fayre on Sunday 30th July 2023. The event was a huge success with over 500 people visiting us for an afternoon of family-friendly fun and the launch of our new mascot, Hartley.

With stalls situated in the Hospice and outside in a marquee, those who attended on the day had the opportunity to take part in a raffle, tombola and name the bear, take a look around our craft, jewellery, toy and plant stalls, visit the ice cream van or the face painter, or take in dance performances and tractor and motorcycle displays, not forgetting the launch of our new Hospice Mascot, a loveable dog called Hartley. Attendees were also treated to live music from the Pennine Mencap Rhodes Bank Choir and Arnfield Brass Band, they enjoyed the food on offer including hot dogs,veggie hot dogs, pasties, cakes and even a gin cocktail featuring the Hospice’s very own 1989 specialist Gin.

We are thrilled to announce that our Summer Fayre brought in just over £4,300, and if we include event sponsorship that’s just under £6,000, towards patient care at the Hospice..

We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came out to support the event, we hope you had a lovely afternoon.
