Bunny Hop

During Easter, we hopped around Oldham visiting nurseries, schools and organised groups who took part in our 2024 Bunny Hop.

This year, over 500 children donned their bunny ears to raise money for Dr Kershaw’s!

Bunny Hops included little ones taking part in assault courses, special visits from the Easter Bunny and Hopsice Mascot, Hartley, and groups of families and friends taking to the park for a hop, skip and a jump.

We'd like to say a massive well done and thank you to all the amazing children and adults involved.

Your egg-cellent fundraising raised over £8,700 for the Hospice this year!

Designed especially for schools, classes, nurseries and organised groups, Dr Kershaw’s Bunny Hop is a wonderfully inclusive experience. It supports a child’s wellbeing and helps develop a sense of being part of one big team, collectively working to engage with their local community. Plus you all get to wear special bunny ears!

By taking part in the Bunny Hop you will be helping us care for local men and women who are living with a life limiting illness, giving them the specialist care they need to manage their symptoms and to be able to face the end of their lives with dignity and calm.
