Our Well-Being Centre

Our Well-Being Centre offers support to people and their families living with cancer or an advancing chronic disease. We are advocates of dynamic palliative care and well-being and we are able to assist with symptoms and provide skilled psychological and emotional support.

Please note our Well-Being Centre is currently closed due to the pandemic. Our dedicated team are currently carrying out virtual sessions and well-being phone calls to our patients.

Our Well-Being Centre Team

We have a team of volunteers working alongside our dedicated staff to offer assistance throughout the day. The focus of our care is about well-being, our environment is welcoming and routines are flexible to allow for holistic individualised care.

Our Well-Being Centre Patients

A careful assessment of each patient's needs will be made by a member of the team and, together with other professionals involved in the patient's care, we will monitor and address those needs throughout attendance at the Well-Being Centre. After assessment, patients are guided into a service that most suits their needs. The Well-Being Centre aims to support patients for as long as required. Patients are able to dip in and out of the services as needs dictate.

Consideration and support is also offered to carers. We link closely with all members of the multi-disciplinary team engaged in each patient’s care, and follow a strict code of confidentially.
