Is 2024 your year to rise to the challenge, make your mark, or even conquer your fears?
You could be one of our wonderful fundraisers who will be supporting our patients living with a life-limiting illness, along with their families.
You could turn your new hobby into a way to help others or make your resolution a reason to raise funds. Are you motivated to move more or looking to conquer a personal challenge?
Our fantastic fundraisers play a huge part in the life of the Hospice and we really couldn’t do it without them.
Skydive - To mark the 10-year anniversary of her Mum's passing, Katie did a tandem skydive in 2023. She raised a massive £2,256.25 to help support patient care here at Dr Kershaw's.
Running - Blake ran a half marathon at Heaton Park in 2023 in honour of his Grandma and to raise funds for the Hospice. Blake raised an amazing £1,370!
Walking - Steve and forty of his family and friends took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in 2023 in memory of his sister. They raised an incredible £2,638.85!
Last year, our fundraisers also took part in challenges involving bake sales, ice baths, bike rides, tough mudders, brave the shave and swimming, plus the challenges listed below!
Whether you’re walking, running or skydiving, on your own or with family, friends or colleagues, get in touch and share your own plans and ideas for what you want to do.
We’re here to support you on your journey every step of the way, from the beginning to celebration.
