Dr Kershaw's Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

Thank you, and a massive well done to our sixteen amazing fundraisers who tackled the grueling Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in the heavy rain, high winds and hot sunshine on Saturday 8th July 2023!
On a challenging full-day hill walk in an area of spectacular scenery, our sixteen supporters took on the three peaks in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Starting in Horton-in-Ribblesdale, they climbed to the summits of Pen-y-Ghent (2,227ft, 694m), Whernside (2,415ft, 736m) and Ingleborough (2,372ft, 723m), the challenge was to complete the 24 miles (39km) walk within 12 hours.
Despite the weather conditions, our walkers finished the challenge in under 12 hours with a smile on their faces!
Congratulations to everyone who took part, we are still totalling up the amount raised but watch this space for more details!
