Festive Fundraisers

This year, Dr Kershaw's are once again running a range of festive fundraisers for the community to take part in, at home, school or in the workplace, to support patient care at the Hospice and across the borough of Oldham.

 

Christmas Concert

Our Christmas Concert is taking place on Thursday 14th December 2023 at Oldham Parish Church. Get in the festive mood with readings and carols, and a performance from Dr Kershaw’s Hospice Choir.

 

Light Up a Life

Join us for our special Light Up a Life service on Sunday 3rd December 2023, which takes place virtually and in-person at Dr Kershaw’s Hospice. It's an opportunity to remember your loved ones whilst supporting your local hospice.

 

An Audience with Frank & Mike

Dr Kershaw's Strictly

Friday 15th March 2024 will see Dr Kershaw’s bring our very own version of Strictly Come Dancing to the Queen Elizabeth Hall. Dr Kershaw's Strictly 2024 will see each dance couple perform a dance to this year's theme - 'A Night at the Movies.'

 

Bunny Hop

Dr Kershaw’s Bunny Hop is a wonderfully inclusive experience. It supports a child’s wellbeing and helps develop a sense of being part of one big team, collectively working to engage with their local community.

 

Rose To Remember

Sunday 2nd July saw the Hospice hold our second annual Rose to Remember event.​​​​​ We asked the community to dedicate a beautiful, metal, yellow rose to their loved ones. Supporters kindly gave donations alongside their dedications, which will contribute to our patients' care here at Dr Kershaw's Hospice.

 

Summer Fayre

We were thrilled to welcome the community to our Hospice for our Summer Fayre on Sunday 30th July 2023. The event was a huge success with over 500 people visiting us for an afternoon of family-friendly fun and the launch of our new mascot, Hartley.

 

Golf Day

Our Golf Day, The Dr Kershaw’s Cup, took place on Friday 15th September 2023 at Crompton and Royton Golf Club and we were thrilled with how successful the event was, with golf enthusiasts enjoying an action-packed day of golf, whilst also raising funds for patient care in the local community.

 

Christmas Fayre

We were thrilled to welcome the community to our Hospice for our Christmas Fayre on Sunday 19th November 2023. The event was a huge success with around 500 people visiting us for a festive afternoon inside the Hospice.
