The team at CH Medical, Chadderton, joined together to support our Hospice, by each completing the recent Greater Manchester 10K on Sunday 22nd May.
The ten-strong team were inspired by one of their doctors, Michelle Moore, who had already ran one and a half marathons in aid of the Hospice, in memory of her mum. Completing the 10K organised run, the CH Medical Team raised £3,744 which will provide support and care for patients and their families across the community.
Dr Moore said: "We were incredibly proud that the majority of our staff signed up to run the Greater Manchester 10k and to have raised funds for Dr Kershaw’s Hospice; a charity that is close to our hearts."
Our own staff member, Dr Matthias Hohmann joined the CH Medical Team on the run, he said: “My wife as a GP at CH Medical was participating in the 10K, and I signed up to express my appreciation and gratitude to the team, I thought it was particularly special that the whole practice fundraised for our Hospice. I’m not a natural runner, and found it strenuous as it was a warm day so well done to everyone from CH Medical who took part and thank you for raising such an incredible amount of money for our Hospice!”
