Royton based company, Crane Payment Innovations got on board to support Dr Kershaw’s recently by providing staff members as volunteers for the day.
The nine strong team from Crane got involved, to support the Hospice’s Retail Team in emptying their current storage facility, ready to move to their new furniture store.
A Crane volunteer commented: “One of my family members was cared for at Dr Kershaw’s at the end of their life by the wonderful nurses. We wouldn't have known what to do without them. They do so much for the local people of Oldham, and it’s great to be able to give back.”
Rebecca Bentham, Director of Income Development at the Hospice said: “We are so grateful to Crane for getting involved and supporting us, we wouldn’t have been able to achieve the move without the support of volunteers.”
Crane who have also supported the Hospice in the past are now looking forward to their next volunteering project which will see them once again supporting the Hospice’s Retail Team.
