Dr Kershaw’s Santas at the 2019 Saddleworth Santa Dash
12 Nov 2021The popular Saddleworth Santa Dash is back on Saturday 4th December, and Dr Kershaw’s have been offered 50 places to raise vital funds for Hospice care.
Lillie Winterbottom, Dr Kershaw’s Community Engagement Team Leader said: “Thank you to Saddleworth Round Table for gifting us 50 places again. Walk or run, it's great family fun and an opportunity for Dr Kershaw's Santas to raise vital funds for patient care. A Dr Kershaw's place includes a Santa Suit (adults), a Santa Hat (kids), running number, a special Dr Kershaw's T-shirt, medal and sponsor form.”
Kelly Foster, Senior Sister at the Hospice added: “A few of us take part each year, it’s a great event, and we want as many people as possible to join Team Dr Kershaw’s. The funds raised help us to support patients in the Hospice and community.”
Based at Uppermill Square from 2.30pm, there will also be a Christmas Market, festive lights, hot food, music, entertainment, a beer tent plus Santa! Dr Kershaw’s will have their own stall, and are asking for support with chocolate donations in the coming weeks to showcase on their tombola, please get in touch with the Hospice if you can help.
