Four Friends, One Mission: Benidorm or Bust Rally 2022

Close friends Joanne Magilton, Tracey Rontree, Lisa Flynn and Louise Kershaw came together back in 2019 to plan an epic adventure; Benidorm or Bust, that would bring in thousands of pounds for two local Hospices- Willow Wood and Dr Kershaw’s.
Unfortunately, the pandemic put stop to their plans back in 2020, but with travel back on, the four friends are looking forward to the organised 1,450-mile rally to Benidorm which will be starting on Monday 9th May.
Joanne said: “We can’t wait to get going now, our amazing pink car was half decorated as the pandemic began and it has been waiting for us to get going. We wanted to do something different to give something back to two local charities who do so much for the community. The four of us don’t even know how to change a tyre yet but we are getting a lesson in before the big day!”
With their bright pink car ready to go and over £8,000 already raised for the two hospices, the team are pulling out all the stops to hit their £10k fundraising target including selling dates displayed across their car. Actor and Dr Kershaw’s Patron John Henshaw even joined the team at their latest event to show his support for their fundraising efforts.
