With National Spa Week taking place this week, and businesses across the country highlighting to the public the real physical, mental and emotional benefits of spa use and complementary therapy treatments, Dr Kershaw’s Hospice is pleased to once again be able to offer a full package of Complementary Therapies to both patients in their In-Patient Unit along with patients in their Well-Being Centre.
Lee Buckley, the Hospice’s Complementary Therapist explained: “The pandemic unfortunately put a stop to our complementary therapy programmes which we have been growing for quite some time. However, we have gradually been able to offer more patients a range of treatments, from aromatherapy massages and facials to reflexology and reiki, which help patients to relax, cope better with their symptoms and feel good about themselves.”
