With Pancake Day taking place last week, the Hospice’s Catering Team wanted to do something special for patients and families in their In-Patient Unit and flipped up a treat to remember.
Gail Robertshaw, the Hospice’s Catering Manager said: “We like to link in with national days and do something special for patients and their families whilst they are at the Hospice. This pancake day we gave our patients the option between sweet treats or savoury pancakes and flipped up a number of pancakes so their loved ones could also enjoy a treat beside them. The pancakes were really popular and helped to make memorable moments for our patients and their family members. National Fish and Chip Day is always a firm favourite when that comes around each year, we’re looking forward to treating our patients and their families to a chippy tea, and we have lots planned for the Jubilee in June so watch this space!”
