With April marking National Stress Awareness Month, we aptly kicked off the month by providing staff with a resources pack to support their well-being, made up of useful advice for managing pressure, a 30-day stress management challenge along with a stress relief adult colouring book.
Hospice HR Advisor, Mandi Halton said: “The well-being of our staff has always been important but since the pandemic, we have placed even greater emphasis on mental health and well-being and focused on strengthening our measures to support the well-being of our staff as they in turn support so many in the Oldham community. We also offer complementary therapy sessions for staff to access as well as a number of well-being workshops throughout the year. We hope that this dedicated pack will enable staff to have some time out of their working day to take a break.”
Over the coming months we have many more well-being plans in place to further support their team.
