With the launch of Dr Kershaw’s Will Month last week, staff from across the Hospice have come together to support the scheme, signing up for their own Wills to protect their decisions for when the time comes, whilst also raising much- needed funds for the Hospice.
Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser, Megan Riley who is supporting the scheme said: “I’ve never really thought about making a Will before, I thought I was too young, but Will Month made me think about it, I’d really like to make sure that I can choose who receives my possessions, especially the ones with sentimental value.”
Community Engagement Team Leader, Lillie Winterbottom is also signing up to a Will this Will Month, she said: “I can't tell you how many times my husband and I have said 'We've got to make our Wills this year'! 2021 is going to be the year - firstly because it's essential for our small family's future financial security and secondly because Will Month offers a substantial saving, whilst supporting the Hospice, it's win/win!”
