Dr Kershaw’s launched our Sky Dive challenge last month, asking the community to take part to raise vital funds for the Hospice.

As one of the first people to sign up, Hospice supporter, Jayne Vrac explains why she wanted to take part in this exhilarating challenge: “I am so excited for the sky dive. I have done one before and it was an incredible feeling. This is such an amazing way to raise funds for Dr Kershaw’s, I would encourage anyone to join us and enjoy the thrill of doing a tandem sky dive, there’s nothing like it! My friend has signed up too, so it will be a great day, where our family and friends can support us and the Hospice. Dr Kershaw’s does an outstanding job not just looking after patients but their families as well. The more we can raise the more they can do!”

Dr Kershaw’s Community Fundraiser, Barbara Lloyd added: “We wanted to give the community a whole new way to support us, if you are up for the challenge and want to join Jayne on the sky dive we’d love to hear from you!”

Sign up now for the Dr Kershaw’s Tandem Sky Dive taking place on Sunday 19th June 2022 and experience the thrill of freefall from up to 15,000ft. Organised by Skydive Northwest, a tandem sky dive requires minimal training and is the safest and most popular choice for first time skydivers. The instructor flies and lands the parachute, leaving you to relax and enjoy stunning views of the Lake District. To register now, Click Here
