‘Are you in a good place to die?’ is this year’s theme for Dying Matters Week, and we have taken to our social media channels to support the national campaign asking people to open up and have important conversations about the sensitive subject of dying.
Dying Matters, run by Hospice UK has structured their annual awareness week around key points for people to consider, from planning your funeral, making a Will to looking at your digital footprint and thinking about your Advanced Care Plan.
Staff from across the Hospice came together during the week to share with the community why they made the decision to make a Will as well as what is important to each of them to do before they die.
Hospice Marketing and Communications Manager, Louise Henderson said: “It’s important for us as a Hospice to support Dying Matters Week and to raise awareness of the key things that people should be considering.”
