Hospice Wedding Favours for Couple’s Big Day

Last year, newlywed, Joanne Teal and husband, David, finally got married on the third attempt after two cancelled weddings due to Covid. Instead of conventional wedding favours, Joanne decided to support her local Hospice, by purchasing a special Dr Kershaw’s favour for each of her guests featuring a pin badge and personalised message for her big day.

Joanne explained: “Having to postpone our wedding was obviously disappointing but compared to what some people have been through during the pandemic it was nothing. I chose Dr Kershaw’s wedding favours as I wanted to give something back to a special group of people who helped me and my family through a difficult time. My mum was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer in April 2019 and sadly died in July 2019. We had support from the Hospice at Home service in the last few days of her life and I can honestly say each and every one of them were amazing and we wouldn’t have got through it without their support. All the guests loved the wedding favours and thought they were lovely. I would definitely recommend Dr Kershaw’s wedding favours, they had the personal touch which I felt was so important and it meant a lot to me to give a little something back in the way of a donation.”

We have a range of wedding favours including pin badges, teddy bears and entry to our Weekly Lottery Draw, just contact our Lottery Team on 0161 624 9213 or lottery@drkh.org.uk for more information.
