With Dr Kershaw’s Hospice recently announcing the launch of their new furniture store- The Furniture Hub, avid upcycler’s should be poised and ready to grab a second-hand furniture gem!
The Furniture Hub, based in Neo House, on Shaw Road, Royton, is just round the corner from the Hospice which supports patients from across the community who have life-limiting illnesses, and once opened will offer an array of furniture to kit out your house at a fraction of the price it would if buying new.
Rebecca Bentham, Director of Income Development and Marketing at the Hospice said: “Due to open its doors next week, the store has already been receiving support in the form of donations from across the community, with many shoppers excited to pay it a visit, we can’t wait to give the community a new place to purchase their furniture. I’ve got my eye on a little coffee table myself, which I’m hoping to buy and upcycle to match the décor of my new house.”
To support patient care in your community, you can purchase your upcycling gem or donate an item of furniture, to find out more click here or call 0161 624 2727.
