With Valentine’s Day taking place last month, the Hospice’s Catering Team wanted to do something special for patients, their loved ones and staff members in their In-Patient Unit and prepared some Valentine’s themed cakes and biscuits as a sweet treat.
Gail Robertshaw, the Hospice’s Catering Manager said: “Valentine’s Day is all about celebrating love and enjoying time with your loved ones. We want to make our patients time here with their families special and help them to create precious memories and like to link in with National days where possible by providing surprise treats. The cakes and biscuits were well received on the In-Patient Unit with some of the staff also enjoying the treats too. We have a lot planned in 2022 for the many celebratory national days taking place, watch this space for more photos of our surprise treats!”
