Changes to Terms and Conditions of Dr Kershaw’s Hospice Scratch Cards

Last date of sale now extended to 31.03.23

As some of the larger cash prizes have not yet been won, we feel it is only fair to our supporters to continue selling our scratch cards past the period of 30.09.19 which was initially stated as the last date of sale. This will also enable us to raise much needed funds for Dr Kershaw’s Hospice.


Terms and Conditions

  1. Winning scratch cards must be surrendered in order to claim the prize
  2. Prize of £10 or less may be claimed from any of our Hospice shops or our Hospice reception
  3. Prizes of more than £10 must be claimed by completing the address panel on the reverse of the card, then post or hand deliver the winning card to: Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, Turf Lane, Royton, Oldham. OL2 6EU
  4. Prizes of more than £10 will be paid in the form of a cheque, made payable to the name within the address panel
  5. Prize cheques will be paid within 21 days of receipt of claim, following validation
  6. All prizes must be claimed within 28 days of the last date of sale which has been extended to 31.03.23
  7. No scratch card shall be sold to or by a person under 16 years of age
  8. Stolen, torn, defaced or defective scratch cards will be void.  Proof of posting is not proof of delivery, registered or special delivery is recommended.  The promoters decision is final
  9. Net profit from the sale of the scratch cards will go to Dr Kershaw’s Hospice
  10. Dr Kershaw’s Hospice is licensed by the Gambling Commission and is also a member of the Hospice Lotteries Association who on behalf of their members, make a financial contribution to the Responsible Gambling Trust

  12. Any complaint relating to the sale of Dr Kershaw’s Hospice scratch cards should be sent in writing to the Lottery Manager, Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, Turf Lane, Royton, Oldham. OL2 6EU
